EMP Kawasaki 4010 Mule flip up Windshield.
Extreme Metal Products is one of the best brands you will come across for your UTV accessories. At EMP they strive to make high quality products that are functional and built to last. They demonstrate that commitment to quality with this windshield for the 4010 Mule. The top of the windshield is made from 1/4 inch thick MR10 polycarbonate with a special scratch resistant coating and the bottom is 3/16 inch polycarbonate. The coating on this polycarbonate is abrasion resistant meaning it is meant to do more that your average scratch resistant coating. This windshield flips up so that you can access the storage under the hood. It attaches to your roll cage with quick connects clamps and once installed can be removed and re-installed without the use of tools. (Please note that on transport models there is an extra gusset and two holes will need to be drilled in the polycarbonate to lower the clamps). If you are looking for a windshield, this is it. It is the last windshield you will every buy for your Mule.

my unit is 2015 kawasaki mule 4010 trans. does this windshield fit tight against the hood surface when folded down? can vehicle be transported at moderate (55-60mph) speeds with windshield in place? will windshield fold up and stay up to be driven with bottom section opened in summertime heat?

A:
Yes this windshield fits your model. When folded down it does not follow the contour of your hood because it needs to be straight to sit tightly against your roll cage when folded up. Yes this can be installed on your machine during transportation at moderate speeds. The bottom half doesn't open up unless you just remove it entirely.

The manufacturer says it fits all 4010 Mules, Including Transport. Only thing on the Transport is: "Transport models have an additional gusset and will require drilling two holes in the Polycarbonate to lower the clamps."
