Q:Hello, after reading some info about tire sizes i still dont have a good answer. I have a 2016 polaris ranger 900 xp eps. The stock sizes for tires is 26x9-12 for front and 26x11-12 for rear. I was wondering id i would be able to put 27x9-12 and 27x11-12 on my ranger? I have had people tell me that it would be no problem and some say no so i was looking for some more info. I do not have a lift on my ranger nor do i want a lift and would be using stock rims. I am thinking of putting the tusk terrabite tires on seeing 90 percent of my driving is on the road and would like a better tire that would be alittle quieter (key word alittle) but also like the look of them also. Let me know what you think
thank you

Q:I have a 2017 general and It has 27-11-14 on the rear and 27-9-14 on the front, would I be able to fit 28-10-14 all the way around it with my factory wheels ?
Asked by: Adam
- 7/9/2017
A: If you are keeping your factory wheels you will want to stick with 9 and 11 inch widths because your factory rims are different sizes. If you want all 4 to be the sameI would recommend buying new rims that are all the same. Let us know if you have any other q's.

Q:What is the height difference ? I have see comments that the size is not actual. I have a 2016 Polaris 1000 XP, currently running OEM Maxxis tires 29 x 9 x 14 (front) and 29 x 11 x 14 ( rear) ….. don’t want to lose ground clearance if your tires are shorter…. Or could go with the 39 x 10 x14 all around but will that screw with my steering with the wider tire on the front?
Asked by: Dave Noahr
- 12/27/2021
A: These measure about 1/2 inch shorter than advertised, which is the case for most tires on the market. I would only recommend the 30x10x14 all the way around if you are running aftermarket rims that are all the same size. If you are keeping your factory rims you'd want to stay with the 29x9 and 29x11 sizes because your factory rims are 2 different sizes.

Q:Do the 27x12's run fairly true to size or do they run a little under since they are on 12" rims?
Asked by: mike
- 8/23/2018
A: Like most tires on the market, these are a little bit shorter than they are advertised. But the height can vary drastically depending on the size of rims you mount the tires on, your air pressure, the weight of the vehicle etc..

Q:Looking for a tire less aggressive than my 31 outlaws , cause my 700 Viking want pull when in deep mud , want turn them , seen these tires and wanted your thoughts , I figured less aggressive tire may turn in mud on the Viking ?
Asked by: Rudy
- 4/29/2019
A: These are for sure less aggressive than your Outlaws. These are designed for general trail riding and hard packed terrain. They obviously won't do as well in the mud as your Outlaws but these are good all-purpose tires!

A: Our ATV/UTV tires are covered against manufacturer defects. If your tires show up defective or prematurely have issues the manufacturer will warranty them. They don't have any kind of mileage or life span warranty like automotive tires do.

Q:I have 2013 ranger 900xp eps with 25x11x12 rear tires and 25x8x12 fronts would the terrabite 25x10x12 work on the rear of my ranger? I do a lot of spraying and heavy pulling.
Asked by: Hugh
- 9/9/2019
A: Yes the 25x10-12 will work, they are just 1 inch skinnier. Many customers run the 25x10-12 on the rear because it's difficult to find many optioins in the 25x11-12.

Asked by: Doug
- 10/2/2019
A: Yes but I would highly recommend you get new rims that are all 4 the same width if you are wanting to run all 4 tires the same. If you keep your factory rims but run all 4 tires the same they will not measure the same size because your factory rims are not the same size front to rear. Let me know if you have any other q's.

A: 30x10x14 tires are recommended to be used on 14x7 or 14x8 wheels. I'm not sure what you mean by a 10x14 wheel. In our terms that would be a 10 inch diameter rim by 14 inches wide, if that's what you mean then no a 30x10x14 tire would not fit that. Let me know if you have any other q's.

Q:I have a 2017 Can-am Outlander 450, OEM wheels and tires. The OEM tires are 25x8 - 12 for fronts and 25x11 - 12 for rears. The OEM wheels are stamped 12 - 6.0 for front and 12 - 7.5 for rear. I want to replace the tires with Tusk Terrabites 27x9 - 12; and 27x11 - 12. Will this work and how quickly can I get them?
Asked by: Victor
- 4/24/2020
A: Yes those 27x9-12 and 27x11-12 tires should work just fine. They measure a little under-size so they will be closer to a 26-26 1/2. Takes about 3-4 days to ship.

Q:I have a Polaris 900 Trail RZR that uses 26x8R12 NHS75F tires in the front in order to fit between the 48 inch guideposts in off road trails.
I have 26" Tusk tires in the back already but it seems Tusk does not make 26x8 for the front. I am affraid if I use 26x something wider, it will not fit the trail and if I use 27x8s I would hurt the transmission. What do you recommend? ( I do not want to replace all 4)
Asked by: Les
- 4/29/2020
A: The Tusk Terrabite's do not come in a 26 inch for a 12 inch rim. So what exactly do you have on the rear? Let us know and we will see if we have something that will work for the front. You will most likely need to go with a 9 inch because there are very few 8 inch options which will widen your machine by about a 1/2 inch on each side.

Asked by: Jeremy Neeley

Q:I have a 2015 900 XP Polaris Ranger, will the 28x10x14 or the 27x11x14 fit on front and back without any modifications? I will be purchasing 14' x7" rims. I want same size tire for all for tires, then can rotate if needed.
Asked by: David
- 10/12/2020
A: Hi, unfortunately the answer is no to both sizes you asked about. In my experience the 28 inch tires will rub on the Ranger 900, the 27x11-14 are too wide so they will also rub. Most customers with your model are running 27x10 or 27x9 all the way around. The only way that I know of to give you additional clearance for bigger tires would be the forwards A-arms that we sell. Let me know if you have any other q's.

Q:2017 RZR XP1000 EPS ..Stock tire size is
Front 29.0X9.0X14
Rear 29.0X11.0X14
Can I use the Terribite 32.X10.X14 all the way around
If so when do you expect them back in stock or do you recommend a different size..??
Asked by: Larry
- 11/13/2020
A: Hi, yes you can fit the 32 inch Terrabites on your machine, we are hoping to have these back in stock later this month. The only problem is you will need to buy new rims so you have all 4 rims the same. If you try to keep your factory rims they will be 2 different sizes which would not work well if your tires are all 4 the same size. Let me know if you need more info on that.

Q:I have a stock 2018 Honda Pioneer 100-5 Deluxe with 27x9x14 tires up front and 27x11x14 tires on the rear. I'm thinking of upgrading to 29" Terrabites on my stock rims, but don't know if these 29" tires will be too large for my stock machine. Since I've heard several people comment that the Terrabites are a little smaller than advertised, I'm wondering if this 2" increase in tire diameter will cause any problems with clearance, since I'm not planning on adding any lift?
Asked by: KM
- 12/8/2020
A: 28's will clear. 29's will most likely rub. I've heard feedback from several customers that have tried to do that and it sounds like the 29's will fit but will rub.

Q:I have a 2010 RZR 800 trail with 2 inch wheel spacers on all 4. I want to run 9 inch width tires on all 4. I also want to run 14x7 with 4+3 offset rims on all 4. I have disconnected the front sway bars. Will the 27x9x14's or the 29x9x14's be better? I want the best lift, handling, and no clutch problems. Also, any info from anyone who has tried this combo without the spacers. Thanks!
Asked by: Gary
- 1/8/2021
A: I would recommend the 27x9-14's. The 29 inch will rub unless you have forward offset A-arms. Your clutching will be able to handle the 27's much better too. You won't need any spacers unless you are wanting the additional stability and width.

Q:I see that there are three different answers for the tire weight of the Tusk Terrabite 28x10R14 ( 32lbs, 33.5lbs & 35lbs) I was wondering which one is correct for that size tire?
Thanks W.
Asked by: Wayne
- 5/31/2021
A: Hi, the shipping weight for a bundle of 2 tires in the 28x10-14 is 66.2 lbs. so that makes each tire 33.1 lbs. They are wrapped in plastic so the packaging doesn't weight anything.

Asked by: Jef@theLake

Q:my current 2022 Polaris Ranger 1000 ESP tire size is 25x10-12 and 25x11-12... I want to put Tusk Terrabite Radials on it what size would I need I don't see my current size... I only see 25x8-12 and 25x10-12.... what is the correct size to order?
Asked by: shawn
- 12/28/2021
A: Hi, these don't come in the exact sizes your Ranger came with so you'll have to adjust the sizes a little bit if you're going to go with these tires. You could run 25x10-12 all the way around on all 4. Or you could go up to the 27x9-12 for the front and 27x11-12 for the rear. Either way would work. Let us know if you have any other q's.

Asked by: Jeff

Asked by: John
- 3/7/2022
A: There is no issue there as far as rotating goes. However these 11" wide tires might rub up front. Most customers run a 10" all the way around. Not saying they won't work, you would just want to measure under your wheel well to make sure they will work at full turn!

Q:Are the Tusk Terrabite Radial ATV / UTV Tires still DOT Approved? I've heard they lost their approval.
Asked by: Will
- 6/25/2022
A: Unfortunately no they are not. However all powersports tires that passed the FMVSS testing that is linked to approve DOT tires. Have been removed. This is Industry wide. Nearly all of the companies that had a dot rated tire for the powersports have been investigated by the NHTSA and advised to remove the wording for DOT and even FMVSS testing. NHTSA stated definitively they do and will not approve Powersports tires to have DOT even if they pass the FMVSS testing.
