Tusk spare tire carrier

Good fit and finish. Easy to install. Leaves room for carrying tool box, cooler, etc. underneath while still maintaining a low profile.

Great structural design and Quality

The Tusk Spare Tire Carrier for Can-Am Maverick X3s has exceptional rigidity due to the 3-point mounting design, and it has excellent fabrication quality (welds and finish). The 3 attachment clamps aligned perfectly with the cage, and the multiple fasteners on each clamp assures they will stay put. The only problem I encountered was minor, the 4 mounting studs that secure the spare were angled inward slightly, making it difficult to install the spare. This stud misalignment was probably due to heating when they were welded in place, but this was easily resolved by threading a lug nut on each stud and hitting it radially outward with a hammer. In spite of this very minor alignment issue I would not hesitate to recommend this item, or to buy another in the future.
